The ASI Research Centre is an independent centre for faith-driven and faith-informed research in the Islamic sciences, founded in 2026 under the guidance of Shaykh Akram Nadwi. We research, publish and disseminate scholarship for the benefit of scholars, academics, and the wider Muslim and non-Muslim community.

Our Team
Shaykh Mohammad Akram Nadwi is the Founding Scholar & Research Director at the ASI Research Centre. He is also the Principal of Al-Salam Institute (ASI), an educational institute that has been delivering beginner to advanced level programmes in Arabic and the Islamic sciences for the past 20 years. Dr Akram Nadwi is world-renowned scholar of Indian origin, who received in-depth training in the traditional Islamic disciplines at Nadwat al-Ulama (Lucknow, India) alongside a PhD in Arabic literature from Lucknow University.
